Ladies' Tresses

Plant Type:

SHADE PERENNIALS

Spiranthes cernua var. odorata - A lovely, sweetly fragrant orchid with spikes of white florets. Flowers display mid-September into October (November). Each stem supports 3 vertical rows of pure white florets arranged set in a sprial staricase arrangement. It's very beautiful upon close inspection. Stems rise above clean dark green semi-glossy lances. Open shade to full sun in fertile, moisture-retentive soil. Ladies' Tresses will form a colony from fleshy stolons. And the fragrance is genuinely lovely. Established orchid(s) from division.
