Miscanthus x giganteus 'Gilded Tower'

Giant Eulalia Grass

Plant Type:

GRASSES & GRASS-LIKE PLANTS

Miscanthus x giganteus 'Gilded Tower' (ex: Louis Raymond) - All green blades are striped in golden yellow and cream. 'Gilded Tower' will gradually increase its girth forming an impressive clump creating a solid screen when in active growth. Late season buff flowers emerge at the tippity tops, each strand unfolding and en masse forming a soft showy puff, this is a definite down south. In the north it is entirely possible that the growing season will be too short for the inflorescence to develop... but, kids, it's the foliage. Though you'll likely miss a year here and there when no inflorescence manifests in the age of climate change perhaps you'll see 'em every year. Established potted Miscanthus from division.
