Amaryllis

Plant Type:

BULBS

Hippeastrum x 'Sunshine Superstar' - Large white amaryllis flowers are traced with fine red veining on a strong growing plant with noteable hybrid vigor. Broad white midribs and white anthers flow from the juicy green heart. The flowers for us have lasted days on end. And it sends up strong successive stems equaling the first wave for an extended show. 'Sunshine Superstar' is big grower that readily increases; it will gradually expand into a vibrant colony in a southern garden. But this fine offering will make a showy potted plant in the north or intered in the garden but dug and stored for the winter. Spring blooming it will open a bit later planted in the ground, opening sooner potted in a cool greenhouse or a warm home. Barry Glick of Sunshine Farm and Gardens introduced this worthy creation. Full sun in fertile, draining ground for best performance. Established potted bulb from offset.
