Chiastophyllum oppositifolium 'Solar Yellow'

Lamb's Tail

Plant Type:

SUN PERENNIALS

Chiastophyllum oppositifolium 'Solar Yellow' - An evergreen succulent with a rich dsiplay of fleshy medium green broad egg-shaped leaves with scalloped edges. In summer a spectacular show of erect stems hold fountaining chains composed of mutitudes of yellow florets. The flowering propensity gives rise to its common moniker, Golden Lamb's Tail. A colony is a memorable sight. Gritty ground in 3/4 sun to 3/4 shade. Winter wet is damaging to deadly so be certain the ground is very lean but consider planting atop a stone wall where its amazing display of hanging panicles can be better appreciated and will fancy up the rocks as well! Established potted succulent, cutting grown.
