Viola odorata 'Freckles' - White violets are gently, heavily spotted with blue. This Sweet Violet would be lovely at garden's edge or a gentle standout in the climax lawn where it will form a colony with plants set here and there among other denizens. Easy to please Viola odorata 'Freckles' will be happy in modest to fertile soil; really any soil that holds on to moisture between rains. Exposure is morning sun to dappled light or open shade in the afternoon. Consider more afternoon shade in hotter parts of the country, more sun will be fine in the north. Seed comes true.
