Sambucus canadensis

Elderberry

Plant Type:

DECIDUOUS SHRUBS

Sambucus canadensis - For those who appreciate the simplicity of the straight species we have taken cuttings taken from an extra-large shrub in back of our propagation greenhouse. Flowers are 8 inches diameter in July on a huge moon-shaped shrub standing at 9 feet tall at center cloaked in lustrous rich green foliage. This Elderberry sprouted all on its own in old dairy farmland soil which, no doubt, has something to do with the largesse and beauty of our volunteer specimen. Half to full sun in moisture retaining rich soil. Established potted shrub cutting grown.
