Eupatorium rugosum 'Chocolate' (syn. Ageratina altissima 'Chocolate') - Chocolate leaves topped with an icing of white late season flowers. Burgundy leaves are handsome all through the growing season. Late summer and autumn flowers are in dramatic contrast. The flattened discs are the perfect landing pad for all manner of insect collecting nectar. Full to part sun in fertile, draining ground. Common names are Fall Poison, Richweed, Tremetol and White Snakeroot. Established potted perennial from cutting or division.
