Bletilla x ‘Brigantes’ (B. striata x B. ochracea) – 'Brigantes' is a lovely hybrid in light rosy pink-purple sporting a purple lip with darker red-purple spotting and highlighted warm yellow infusion at the tip, the pastel color combination reminding me of a dreamy summer dawn. Plant the very pretty ‘Brigantes’ in fertile, enriched moisture-retaining soil sited in a partly sunny exposure. Clumping with moderate increase. Once established Bletilla demonstrates some drought tolerance. Established potted orchid by division.
