Aster divaricatus 'Tiney Hiney'
White Wood Aster
Plant Type:
SHADE PERENNIALSAster divaricatus 'Tiney Hiney' (now known as Eurybia divaricatus) - 'Tiney Hiney' a very dwarf white wood aster forming a bun of foliage over which October starry white flowers smother for a long time. Perfect for front of the border or the rock garden - maybe even in a trough 'Tiney Hiney' is approximately one-tenth the size of the native species. As to the cultivar name: every time I see it I blink hard 3 times in disturbed wonderment. Site in full sun to open dappled shade planted in draining soil. Clumping to slow spread. You will probably achieve better flowering in more sun. Established pot grown perennial from division.
