Aster ageratoides subsp. ovatus ‘Adustus Nanus’ – ​'Adustus Nanus' is a very dwarf form of this still rare Japanese aster. Blue-rayed flowers encircle a central yellow disk from July to September studded on mounded domes. It increases its girth slowly. This would be lovely in the forefront of any border, even if utilized as a ground cover as it will spread moderately but remain tight. Site in full to part sun planted in well-drained soil, 'Adustus Nanus' will tolerated bony conditions. Established pot grown perennial from cutting grown or division.
