Neviusia alabamensis – The Alabama Snow-wreath. White 1” frothy flowering cymes in enormous numbers occur in April in Athens, Georgia, June in Brooklyn, Connecticut. The alternate simple medium to light green leaves with serrated margins are understated though attractive turning bright yellow before dropping in autumn. Golden brown branches arch on a somewhat rounded, open form. Plant Neviusia alabamensis in fertile soil sited in sun where once it settles in will attempt colonization. It will tolerate more shade in the south. Cutting grown.
