Viburnum lantana 'Aureum - A bright yellow-leafed form Wayfaringtree. All new leaves are sunny yellow. These settle back to light, bright green as leaves mature. Those that remain in sun retain yellow while those more shaded to a green tint. The mix of beautiful. May cymes are white with many yellow anthers giving the flowers a cream hue. Green fruits metamophose to red and finally black in show contrast to the yellow leaves. ‘Aurea’ will cross-pollinate with V. burejaeticum or with all other V. lantana which will insure copious crops of fruits. Fertile draining ground in a sunny exposure... too much shade will affect the foliage color. Established potted Viburnum from cutting.
