Aster novae-angliae 'Alma Potschke' (now known, God help us, as Symphiotrichum novae-angliae 'Alma Potschke') - The intense, rich rose-pink flowers on this beauty are bright and demanding of attention without being hot. Nicely used in the middle of the perennial border with other late blooming Helianthus, Rudbeckia, Vernonia and throw in something white for show! Site her in full to half sun in modestly fertile ground - not too rich of a mix or she will balk. Alma can bloom August to Frost. If ordered in autumn these will arrive partly cut back. Established pot grown perennial from cutting or division.
