Aster ageratoides 'Ashvi' (ex: Jonathan Lehrer) - A pure white late blooming aster with bright yellow eyes atop strong stems. 'Ashvi' has the propensity to flower over the course of many weeks in autumn; in northeastern Connecticut it blooms late September through October. 'Ashvi' forms dense bushy plants and will increase its domain by runners... its tendency is to want to moderately colonize. Foliage is alternate, lanceolate and dark green. Moderately spreading. Plant in any draining soil or sandy loam. Site in full to part sun for best growth and flowering. Division or cutting grown.
