Sorbaria sorbifolia ‘Sem’ – 'Sem' is a dwarf form of the Ural Falsespirea. Large white astilbe-like flowers occur as panicles in summer over pinnately compound resembling a dwarf sumac. Foliage emerges with a striking pink flush. Each leaflet is sharply serrated. An attractive shrub for tough sites, it will colonize.
