Parthenocissus quinquefolia ‘Variegata’ – ​This is a stable variegated form of Virginia Creeper. It is probably the very same clone called 'Star Sparkler'. Each compound palmate leaf is irregularly splashed with much cream, just beautiful as it lights up in part to open shade vining and twining all the way. The lack of chlorophyll has tamed this vine which in its straight green form can be very rambunctious! Greenish cream-yellow June/July flowers in cymes give way to blue fruits which when in contrast with the pink-infused late season foliage are striking. Climbing or sprawling this is a vine of great merit. Plant this variegated Virginia Creeper in fertile draining soils where it will demonstrate fair drought tolerance in part to open shade.
