Lychnis arkwrightii ‘Lengai Red’ – This Catchfly flowers with very showy vivid crimson flowers floating above bronze-purple hirsute foliage blossoms for a long period. This will be a great addition to the hot-colored perennial border or as a contrast plant elsewhere. It would make a striking edging plant along a walkway in front of a gray, cream, brick, barn red or even a beach house in faded blue. Site ‘Lengai Red’ in part shade planted in fertile draining soil. 'Lengai Red' is a clumping plant. If ordered in autumn 'Lengai Red' will arrive cut back and well on the way to its long winter's nap. If ordered in our autumn shipping window these will arrive dormant and cut back. Established potted perennial from division.
