Euonymus obovatus (ex: Will Forster) Running Strawberry Bush. A cool ground-covering trailing shrub Euonymus that that may grow as tall as 18 inches. Flowers are pale green infused with light pink followed by pink seed pods. When the pods crack open glossy scarlet seeds are exposed. Fall colors are remarkable: purple, maroon and pink. The leaves remain on the stems until falling off near the winter solstice. Winter stems are green. This quick grower wants rich moist soil in shade. Established potted Euonymus from cutting or division.
