Iris versicolor 'Epic Poem' - With a long season of bloom 'Epic Poem' harbors the ability to bloom from one end of the Iris spectrum to the other. That's remarkable in and of itself. Flowers are light blue with white signals. This vigorous grower will display numerous flowers encompassing the long Iris season. Epic - even heroic, indeed. A fine Schafer/Sacks introduction. Fertile draining to constantly moist ground in sun.

They come in an amazing array of colors with fans of foliage that provide textural contrast to other garden denizens long after the flowers have passed. None that we carry are especially common.
