Vaccinium x 'Friendship'

Hybrid Blueberry

Plant Type:

DECIDUOUS SHRUBS

Vaccinium x 'Friendship' (Only 1 available.) Rare intermediate hybrid between V. corymbosum (Highbush Blueberry) and V. angustifolium (Lowbush Blueberry). It's a handsome smaller shrub splitting the difference between both of its parents growing about 4 to 5 feet tall. It has all the great attributes of its mom and dad with thick, attractive green leaves that glow ruby red in autumn. It stems are green to yellow-green with some earthy red-brown zones but become rich red in winter. And, yes, there are the berries - blue and tasty but I'll bet the birds get 'em before ya. Fertile ground on the acid side of the spectrum. Lots of sun. Established shrub, cutting grown.
