Burnet

Plant Type:

SUN PERENNIALS

Sanguisorba x 'Pacific Pewter' - This Pacific Rim hybrid between S. hakusanensis (Japan) with S. menziesii (Pacific Northwest) boasts gray-silver-blue leaves. Each leaflet on the compound structure is beautifully serrate and broadly undulating. Large and showy raspberry-purple mid to late season bottle brushes gently weep atop strong vertical stems in lovely contrast to the pewter leaves. Site 'Pacific Pewter' in full sun planted in fertile, draining soil. Established pot grown perennial from division. Oh! I apologize for my hand being in so many pics; it's purely as a size contrast and not because I think my bear paws are worthy of hand model showmanship.
