An exquisite Dwarf Burnet with all dark green leaves exhibiting cream white margins. The variegation is stable. The mat of foliage grows only 4 inches tall and will gradually spread to 12 inches and broader. Leaflets are set upon a pinnate arrangement and grow densely from the crown. Squat maroon-pink bottle brushes in upright, oval globes set atop 7 to 12-inch stalks in late spring to early summer. What a sweetie! Though content in moist soil Sanguisorba officinalis var. microcephala 'Little Angel' will tolerate drier soil once established. The species appreciates a higher Ph so be sure to mix some dolomitic limestone in the planting hole. Part to full sun. Deer resistant.
