Rubus sp. “white splashed” – Large white flowers above beautifully variegated foliage splashed and stippled with much white against the the green backdrop – very showy and worthy as a rarefied contrasting shrub / bramble among solidly colored plants, be they herbaceous or woody. Lovely one-inch flowers with five white papery petals replete with a heart of pale Granny Smith apple green stamens decorate the foliage in late spring / early summer with some occasional bloom possible dotting the foliage throughout the summer. We do not know the species but it is allegedly hardy in USDA zone 5 and maybe colder. This is something else! So new we don't even know the adult size. It has remained very low growing, only 5 to 6 inches tall, in the container after a couple of years. Cutting grown.
