Solidago rugosa 'Fireworks' – Showy, golden yellow rayed goldenrods like an exploding firework captured in a photograph a second after the blast or a large, lean starfish set atop stems that for us rise to 5 feet for a long season, mid to late summer into autumn. 'Fireworks' is just beautiful in textural and color contrast to tall growing deep purple asters, the white daisies of Leucanthemella serotina 'Herbststern', Joe-pye Weeds, Northern Sea Oats and Ironweeds. Absolutely great for the bees and butterflies in the late season garden. This selected form of Rough Goldenrod was made in North Carolina. Fertile to average draining soil in full to half sun for best performance. Pot grown division.
