Pycnanthemum muticum

Mountain Mint

Plant Type:

SUN PERENNIALS

Pycnanthemum muticum – This very fine Mountain Mint with gray-green leaves will form a large-scale ground cover. Aromatic leaves are grayer near the white flowers which are sometimes flushed with baby pink. It is an excellent, attractive colonizing plant at woodland's edge and a truly great butterfly plant. When used en masse as a stepping stone its cool, gray affect is a gentle, satisfying contrast to taller, green plants in the background. Oh, and the fragrance! Adaptable. If purchased in our fall shipping window Mountain Mint will be cut back and arrive dormant. Pot grown division.
