Mukdenia

Plant Type:

SUN PERENNIALS

Mukdenia rossii 'Crimson Fans' (syn. Aceriphyllum rossii 'Karasuba') – Beautiful perennial for moist soil in part to full sun, the broadly palmate leaves with multiple pointed lobes are bold. As the season wears the leaves dramatically pick up red and crimson tones making the dense rounded mound a show-stopping contrast plant to neighboring garden denizens. Clusters of white spring flowers rise above the leaves in spring on this wonderful Saxifragaceae. For gardeners towards the northern end of its range spring planting is advised. Pot grown division.
