Campanula kinokawamae

Campanula

Plant Type:

SUN PERENNIALS

Campanula kinokawamae - This Campanula is a quick stoloniferous, ground covering species forming dense, weed-proof mats of textured green leaves. White bells  on four-inch stems are heavily sprinkled maroon on the interiors. The flowers are enormous. It is a new species. We are uncertain as to which piece of the Earth this lovely campanula was originally found, perhaps Japan... maybe China but definitely Asia; it was Kiyoshige Yamaguchi who gave a piece to Joy Creek Nursery. And we received a piece from our friend, Jonathan Lehrer. Part shade in fertile soil. Established pot grown from division.
