Amsonia tabernaemontana var. salicifolia

Eastern Blue Star

Plant Type:

SUN PERENNIALS

Amsonia tabernaemontana var. salicifolia - This wonderful, easy care Eastern Blue Star displays heads of clustered starry periwinkle blue flowers in spring. The rounded mounded perennial then takes on an almost shrub-like affect composed of densely packed simple blades in a medium green. In autumn the foliage turns a respectable yellow before succumbing to cold nights. It's lovely, tough, long-lived and much asked-about here. If ordered in our autumn shipping window you Eastern Blue Star will arrive cut back. Plant in fertile to average soil in half to full sun. Established pot grown perennial via division.
