Ribes alpinum ‘Aureum’ – This is a dwarf form of Alpine Currant with yellow leaves in full sun become more lime or greenish-yellow in summer. Flower racemes, 1” to 2” long, are also greenish yellow. Older wood exfoliates. It will make an easy, tough and low maintenance filler plant or a low hedge or edging plant. R. a. ‘Aureum’ is best planted in any good soil to which dolomitic limestone has been added. Cutting grown.
