Jasminum nudiflorum 'Aureum'
Winter Jasmine
Plant Type:
VINESJasminum nudiflorum 'Aureum' (ex: Louis Raymond) - A curious form of Winter Jamine with new green leaves developing yellow splashes as the foliage ages. Some leaves may eventually be entirely golden, others a mix of yellow and green. This is also a smaller grower achieving about 4 feet or so in length. Brilliant yellow flowers occur along evergreen stems in winter to early spring before the new foliage emerges, hence nudiflorum. This is not a clinging vine - stems will splay casually along the ground; so, if you want it to climb provide support and use ties to secure stems. If you wish it to cascade it will do so with abandon. Sheltered at the northern end of its climate range, please. Full sun in average to fertile ground. Established potted Winter Jasmine from cutting.
