Cyrtanthus elatus ''salmon pink form''

Scarborough Lily

Plant Type:

BULBS

Cyrtanthus elatus - "salmon pink form" (ex: Seneca Hill Perennials) - This is a lovely salmon-pink form of the well-known Scarborough Lily, sometimes referred to as the George Lily. Relatively large salmon pink amaryllis-like flowers occur in later spring/early summer but there may be some free-flowering. It is a welcome candidate in a cool greenhouse or on a windowsill in full to part sun. This wonderful member of the Amaryllidaceae performs well in a fertile, organic soil that retains some moisture; keep the Scarborough Lily drier in the winter or it will likely rot. Potted bulb.
