Salvia glabrescens 'Autumn Equinox' - Handsome vase-shaped perennial sage with countless two-toned last season salvia flowers. The base flower color is light purple with a striking, contrasting  midnight deep purple keel. 'Autumn Equinox' is a selection from S. glabrescens and var. robustum crosses. The flowers are larger and more distinctly-colored than 'Shi ho'. 'Autumn Equinox' will be content in morning sun with dappled or light afternoon shade probably wise farther south. Good winter drainage is imperative. Established pot grown plant from cutting.
