SUN PERENNIALSValeriana phu 'Aurea' - Bright golden densely set yellow leaves dazzle in full sun stand approximately 18 inches tall at the center of the a ruffled dome. Small, white flowers cluster on flowering stems rising upwards of 48 inches in late spring above the ferny leaves. What the flowers lack in bold beauty they more than make up for in fragrance. They are a good beneficial insect draw as well. Foliage color settles back from the brilliant yellow to a bright green as the summer wears. Full sun in average to fertile draining soil. For gardeners towards the northern end of its range spring planting is advised. Pot grown division.
