Nymphaea odorata 'Perry's Baby Red'

Hardy Water Lily

Plant Type:

POND & WETLAND PLANTS

Nymphaea odorata 'Perry's Baby Red' - This is a small to medium grower forming a dense floor of glossy dark green pads upon which the deep, dark fuchsia-magenta-red-purple water lilies erupt in summer. Yes - it's a complex color with red in the mix; but this is in no way a fire engine red! Definitely not one of the "big boys" it might be best to plant 'Perry's Baby Red' in no more than 4 feet of water - if anyone knows differently please let us know. Though said to not be particular about soil we find that sandy loam is best. Full sun. Hefty bare root division. Will not ship until May-ish.
